Dr Khalil Alagha is an accomplished academic and industry practitioner with over 20 years of professional experience spanning digital marketing, media, and strategic consultancy. He currently serves as Programme Leader for the MSc Digital Marketing & Advertising at the University of Hull’s London Study Centre, where he also lectures in digital marketing and analytics.
Dr Alagha’s academic and professional expertise lies in digital transformation, particularly at the intersection of marketing and media. His research and teaching interests focus on marketing analytics, AI integration in digital strategy, and audience engagement in evolving media ecosystems. With a strong industry background as a Digital Development Consultant, Dr Agha has worked extensively with media organisations and SMEs, supporting innovation and strategic adaptation in the digital era.
He holds a PhD in Digital Media and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), a recognition of his sustained impact on teaching excellence and academic leadership. In both his research and teaching, Dr Agha bridges academic insight with real-world application, supporting postgraduate learners to develop industry-relevant skills and strategic thinking.
