I’m Janith Gunaratne, Business Lecturer at the University of Hull, London Study Centre. With a professional background spanning both higher education and UK’s banking and financial services sector, I bring a unique blend of academic insights and practical industry experience to the classroom. I am passionate about creating dynamic, inclusive learning environments that demystify complex business concepts and make students engage and relevant to real-world business contexts.

My academic journey includes an MBA with Distinction from York St John University and a First-Class Honours degree in International Banking and Finance from the University of Northampton. I am currently developing my doctoral research proposal, reflecting my commitment to continuous academic and professional development.
