FAQs

Your Questions Answered

Why should I choose UoH London?

We have been awarded the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Gold Award for our high-quality teaching. All students are taught in small group classes with no more than thirty students. We combine traditional lectures with interactive seminars, allowing for more engaging and dynamic learning. Our lecturers bring substantial experience from lecturing in London and have professional backgrounds, which helps them connect theory to practice effectively. Every student is assigned a personal supervisor (personal tutor), and in the third trimester, a dissertation supervisor.

What will my timetable look like?

We understand that students might have other commitments outside of their studies, such as part-time work or hobbies. Therefore, we have designed our timetable so that students only need to attend lectures two days a week.

How connected are you to employers?

To support students’ professional development, we offer a programme of guest speakers and field trips to connect students with the professional world and enhance their educational experience.

What career support is available at the university?

All students have full access to the University’s Careers Service, which includes one-on-one consultations, CV writing assistance, interview preparation, and webinars tailored to the London job market and students’ individual professional goals.

How and where will I be taught?

You will attend face-to-face classes two days a week at 99 Gower Street, located in central London. The centre is well connected by public transport, with nearby stations including Euston, Euston Square, Warren Street, and Goodge Street.

Are there any scholarships available?

We offer scholarships of up to £2,000 for students with exceptional profiles. Additionally, for students who are able to pay their full fees early, we provide further discounts on a case-by-case basis.

What fees do I need to pay?

You are expected to pay 50% of your tuition fees before enrolment, with the remaining 50% due at the end of the first semester. For some regions (primarily in Africa), we offer individual instalment plans to accommodate fluctuating currency values.

What accommodation support is provided by the university?
